Tech Entrepreneurship

For many years, I was a senior committee member and advisor to Oxford Entrepreneurs. This included founding and being inaugural director of the Oxford Entrepreneurs Incubation Centre, which hosted tech start-ups established by recent Oxford University alumni like PlinkArt, Google's first British acquisition. 

I contributed to the development of the business concept of Pharmatics, a machine-learning company related to my doctoral research collaboration with academics at the University of Edinburgh. While advocating for the firm, I was recognised for business plan pitches at competitions in New York and Oxford.

Currently, as the Chief Data Scientist at Manhattan-based untapt, it is my pleasure to develop statistical models and processes that enable people to discover jobs they can flourish in. 



Previously, I worked at a proprietary trading firm, where I used quantitative strategies to buy and sell financial derivatives on the world's most active commodities marketplaces. My role included leading development of the company's Singapore office.


Healthcare and Digital Advertising

Most recently, I worked as a data scientist at North America's largest media holding company, the Omnicom Group, where I worked directly with clients to solve healthcare and programmatic advertising questions with large, high-dimensional data. 



During the 2014 federal election cycle, I contributed weekly pro bono analytics to Seth Moulton's successful grass-roots bid to represent the 6th congressional district of Massachusetts in the U.S. House.
